Andrea M, Emotions sketches
Typically when one thinks about wearing their emotions one would think of using facial expressions or eyes, however I feel there are many different forms to express them. This is an exploration of the idea of wearing one’s emotions or feelings. It can be hard for some people to express how they feel with verbal communication. This demonstrates one form of communication with clothes and what these emotions could look like if worn “on our sleeves”. I choose emotions people often feel. Color theory also became a main source of inspiration for this collection. Colors are capable to have impact on our mood and also affect how we perceive things in different ways. In the end, I created 2 outfits from my drawing collection that have been named Fatigue and Destructive.
